Krishma Goraya
Krishma, Registered Psychotherapist
With warmth, non-judgment, and a touch of humour, Krishma, Registered Psychotherapist, is here to support you on your mental health journey. Together you'll explore what's causing you pain, suffering, or frustration, then strengthen coping skills to help make challenging situations and strong emotions feel less daunting. Krishma will walk alongside you as you increase your awareness and begin to challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviours.
Krishma brings over a decade of experience in the social service sector to her work as a psychotherapist. She is experienced in the field of intimate partner violence prevention and provides trauma-informed care, often working with clients to address a variety of relational challenges such as changes in friendships, romantic relationships, and family dynamics. Krishma recognizes that these topics can be difficult to discuss, thus, she prioritizes creating a therapeutic space rooted in safety, collaboration, and validation so you feel empowered, seen, and supported throughout the process.
Outside of work, Krishma takes pride in her role as "cool aunt" to her many nieces and nephews. She loves spending time with family and also values carving out time for solo creative activities like knitting, crafting, reading, and doing puzzles.
