Claire, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) Intern
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or like anxiety is getting in the way of living the life you want? Claire works with adults and young adults who are ready to find more balance — and she's here to help you get there.
Claire's approach is collaborative and compassionate. She draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you understand the patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours that might be keeping you stuck. Together, you'll build practical coping skills while deepening your self-awareness — because lasting change comes from both.
Before becoming a therapist, Claire worked in Human Resources, which gives her a grounded, real-world understanding of workplace stress, difficult relationships, and major life transitions. She holds a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology and an undergraduate degree in Forensic Psychology.
Claire believes therapy works best when you feel genuinely safe and heard. Her goal is to create a space where you can show up as you are, without judgment, and work toward the kind of meaningful, lasting change that actually sticks.
When she's not in session, you'll find Claire baking, exploring the outdoors with her dog, or spending time with the people she loves.
